What this website stores on your device, what each thing is for, how long it lasts, and how to change your mind.
Your choice
Google’s measurement service is the one exception, and it loads on every page before you have chosen. Until you agree it stores nothing on your device and cannot recognise you; Google receives the address of the page and your IP address, and nothing that identifies you. Everything else — the recordings, and anything to do with advertising — waits for your agreement. Declining is a single press and costs you nothing on this site: every page, every price and the whole booking works either way.
You can change your mind whenever you like. reopens the choice, and it is in the footer of every page. If your browser sends a “Do Not Track” signal, our own recording stays off regardless of anything else. Google’s tags do not read that signal, so the cookieless measurement described above continues until you decline.
Strictly necessary

Your chosen dates and guests, the dome held for you while you pay, and your cookie choice itself. Without these the booking cannot work, so they are not optional and are set without consent.
Kept for Until the booking is finished, or the hold lapses. The cookie choice is kept for a year.
Measurement
Google (Tag Manager and Analytics)
Loads on every page, before you have chosen. Until you agree it stores nothing on your device and cannot recognise you or link your visit to any other — Google receives only the address of the page and your IP address, and uses them to estimate the visits it cannot otherwise see. If you agree, it measures which pages were visited and from where, and which advertisement led to a booking. Never used on our staff administration pages.
Kept for Nothing on your device until you agree. After that, up to two years.
Measurement
PostHog
Which pages were visited, from where, and anonymised recordings of visits so we can see where booking becomes difficult. Every form field is masked before it is recorded, so names, email addresses and telephone numbers are never captured. Card details are entered inside our payment provider’s own secure frame, which no recording can reach. Never used on our staff administration pages.
Kept for Recordings for 30 days; usage statistics for up to a year.
Advertising
Advertising platforms
Lets us see which advertisements led to a booking, and show our advertisements to people who have visited before.
Kept for Set by each platform, typically up to 13 months.
Fault reporting
Sentry
A technical description of anything on the site that fails — which page, which browser, and the error itself — so that we can repair it. Sets no cookies and is not used to identify or follow you, so it runs as part of the strictly necessary set.
Kept for 90 days.
Your browser can also decide
Every browser can block or delete cookies for a site. Doing so for this one will clear your choice here, and may interrupt a booking that is part-finished.
