Al Marmoom Domes

PRIVACY POLICY

What we collect when you book and stay, what we do with it, who else sees it, and what you can ask us to do about it.

1Information We Collect

  • Identity data: full name, date of birth, Emirates ID, passport details, or other identification documents
  • Contact data: email address, mailing address
  • Demographic data: nationality, preferences, and special requests
  • Booking and accommodation data: reservation details, including check-in and check-out dates, package selections, and activities booked
  • Payment details, securely processed via third-party platforms
  • Interaction data: feedback provided during your stay or via surveys and reviews, and communication records including email correspondence
  • Technical data: device information, IP address, browser type, and interaction with our website; cookies and usage analytics to enhance website performance
  • Health and safety data: information about allergies, dietary requirements, or medical conditions, if voluntarily provided

2How We Use Your Information

The information collected is used for:

  • Booking management: facilitating reservations, processing payments, and ensuring seamless check-in and check-out
  • Service personalisation: tailoring activities, dining experiences, and accommodation to your preferences
  • Marketing and communication: sending promotional offers, updates, or important service-related notifications — only with your consent
  • Legal compliance: meeting regulatory obligations and responding to legal requests

3Information Sharing

We respect your privacy and share information only under the following conditions:

  • With service providers: vendors who support our operations, such as payment processors, tour organisers, and transportation providers
  • Legal obligations: when required by law or in response to valid legal processes
  • With consent: for any purposes where you have explicitly granted permission

We ensure that third parties adhere to confidentiality and privacy standards in compliance with applicable laws.

4Data Security

Your privacy is protected through robust security measures:

  • Encryption: secure storage of sensitive information using advanced encryption
  • Access control: restricted access to personal data based on roles and responsibilities
  • Monitoring: regular audits to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance

Despite our efforts, no online platform is 100% secure. In the unlikely event of a data breach, we will notify affected individuals promptly.

5Retention of Information

We retain your data only as long as necessary for:

  • Providing services during your stay
  • Meeting legal and regulatory requirements
  • Resolving disputes and enforcing agreements

After the retention period, data is securely deleted or anonymised.

6Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold
  • Correction: update incorrect or incomplete information
  • Deletion: request the removal of data where permissible by law
  • Restriction: limit the processing of certain data under specific conditions
  • Opt out: decline marketing communications or data sharing unrelated to services

7Cookies and Tracking

Cookies help us enhance your experience on our website. They may track:

  • Visitor preferences
  • Website traffic and performance metrics

We use two third-party services to run and improve this website. PostHog measures how the site is used and records anonymised sessions — which pages were visited and where a booking became difficult. Every form field is masked before recording, so your name, email address and telephone number are never captured, and card details are entered inside our payment provider’s own secure frame, which no recording can reach. Sentry receives technical diagnostics when something on the site fails, so that we can repair it.

Neither service is used on our staff administration pages, and neither is used to build an advertising profile of you.

You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings, or enable “Do Not Track”, which these services respect. However, this may affect functionality.

8Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under 18 without parental consent. If such data is identified, it will be deleted promptly.

9Third-Party Services

Our services may include links to third-party websites or providers. We are not responsible for their privacy practices and encourage you to review their policies before engaging.

10International Data Transfers

As a UAE-based resort, data collected may be processed or stored outside your home country. We ensure compliance with applicable data protection laws when transferring data internationally.

11Environmental Responsibility

Al Marmoom Domes is committed to sustainable practices, and we encourage guests to participate by minimising waste and conserving resources during their stay.

12Guest Feedback

Your feedback is invaluable. Please share your experiences or concerns to help us improve.

13Health and Safety Compliance

We adhere to all local and national regulations to ensure a safe environment for our guests.
