Arriving and leaving
- What time is check-in and check-out?
- Check-in is from 3pm and check-out is at 12pm. Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability on the day.
- Can I request an early check-in or late check-out?
- Yes, subject to availability. Ask us when you book or any time before you arrive and we will tell you what is possible for your dates.
The dome
- Does every dome have a private pool?
- Yes. Every collection includes a dome with its own private pool and garden. From Half Board upward you also have a private terrace, welcome refreshments on arrival, and 24/7 private butler service.
- Does the dome have a private bathroom?
- Yes. Each dome has its own private bathroom.
- How many guests can stay in one dome?
- Two adults in every collection. Children are in addition: one child on Domes with Breakfast and Half Board, two on Full Board and All-Inclusive. Larger parties are welcome — the booking takes a second dome, and the price shown covers all of them.
- Is the dome suitable for children?
- Yes. Children are welcome, and the number a dome takes depends on the collection — see the question above. The pool is private to your dome, so children are never sharing it with other guests.
Food and drink
- What is included in each collection?
- Domes with Breakfast covers the dome with private pool and garden, the sunset view, an Arabian horse stud visit, and traditional breakfast served in your dome or private garden. Half Board adds the private terrace, welcome refreshments and round-the-clock butler service. Full Board with Experiences covers breakfast, lunch and dinner with beverages. All-Inclusive adds a four-course set lunch and a private setting arranged for the occasion.
- Can we have lunch or dinner at the dome?
- Yes. Meals are served in your own dome or private garden rather than in a dining room. Arrange it in advance where you can, so the kitchen can plan for it.
- Is there a restaurant at the property?
- Not in the usual sense — there is no à la carte restaurant. Meals are prepared for guests and served privately in the dome or the garden.
- Are the beverages non-alcoholic?
- Yes. Al Marmoom Domes is a dry property and alcohol is not served. Beverages are soft drinks, water, sparkling water, coffee, tea, Arabic coffee and fresh juices, and non-alcoholic sparkling grape is available.
Out in the desert
- Are desert activities included?
- It depends on the collection. Camel riding is complimentary for dome guests, and an Arabian horse stud visit is included from the entry collection upward. Horse riding and private safari experiences can be arranged at an additional charge.
- Is stargazing available?
- Yes, in the evening — generally between 7pm and 9.30pm, and subject to the weather and how clear the sky is that night.
Occasions and arrangements
- Can you arrange a birthday or a honeymoon?
- Yes. Cakes, flowers, balloons and private setups can all be arranged on request, and some carry an additional charge. Tell us the occasion when you book and we will take it from there.
